Welcome to YWAM Kilimanjaro!
Our base is named after the highest mountain in Africa called Kilimanjaro in which the base lies on it’s plains. The land of the base of 28 acres was given by the Tanzanian governement in 1995 for the purpose of establishing a training centre.
We are an international and interdenominational non-profit organization with over 180’000 volunteers worldwide that focuses on training, evangelism and mercy ministries.
Our vision is to train, challenge and equip Christians to reach their local community, their nation, surrounding nations, Africa, and the whole world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and with community-based projects.
